The company will merge with Independence Realty Trust in an all-stock deal, creating a residential REIT with an enterprise value of $8.1 billion. Under the terms of the all-stock deal, Centerspace shareholders will receive about 3.8 shares of IRT common stock per Centerspace share. Academy Sports and Outdoors The outdoors apparel retailer saw shares gain 8%. Academy Sports lifted its adjusted earnings outlook for the fiscal year ending January 2027, calling for $6.50 to $6.90 per share, up from the earlier range of $6.40 to $6.80 per share and topping the FactSet consensus estimate of $6.43 per share. Meta Platforms Shares of the social media giant bucked the broader market trend, rising 6%. The move comes after the company unveiled late Tuesday a personal AI agent app . Mission Produce Shares of the avocado producer popped 4%. Mission Produce beat the expectations of every analyst polled by FactSet for both earnings per share, excluding items, and revenue in its fiscal third quarter. Apple Shares were down 1% as traders awaited an event in which the company is expected to announce new iPhones, including a foldable one. Casey's General Stores Shares dropped more than 15% after the convenience store chain reported mixed results for the fiscal first quarter. While earnings and revenue for the period beat expectations, Casey's also reported a 0.3% year-over-year decline in fuel sales. Sales of prepared food and dispensed beverages also increased slightly less than anticipated. Signet Jewelers The jeweler's stock popped 19% on the back of better-than-expected earnings for the second quarter. Signet earned an adjusted $2.19 per share, beating a FactSet estimate of $1.74 per share. The company also increased its full-year earnings guidance. ServiceTitan Shares fell over 30% after the technology company's third-quarter guidance on revenue fell short of estimates by analysts polled by FactSet. The company did beat on revenue for the second quarter, reporting $292.8 million versus FactSet's $285.9 million. It also raised its revenue for its full-year guidance. Braze The customer engagement platform's shares dropped 19% after it fell short on revenue against analysts estimates polled by FactSet. The company did beat on earnings per share. Chime Financial Shares were up 4% for the financial technology company after it reported better-than-expected second-quarter earnings. For its third-quarter guidance, the company expects to generate between $680 million and $690 million in revenue, surpassing analysts' estimate of $640.6 million. CNBC's Fred Imbert and Darla Mercado
